Ha Long Bay Bistro - Dunedin

Food is ok, restaurant is super busy on Saturday weekend because of the staff. We should wait. But the bill for 2 dishes has already been added with 20% tips and my card waited for a while to be picked up. Update. After waiting, the last bill came back to the signature asking for tip?. What is the game here???

Excellent food, were also at their other location. We had dim sum and regular lunch .staff very attentive This is just as good as the original. The only thing they don't have on the weekend is the rolling dim sum car. Since this is much more convenient for us to go there, will definitely return

The food was very good, but check your bill. A 20 percent invoice was added to my bill. We had only 4 people at our party. You will give you your credit card receipt to sign but not to compare original itemized invoice and leave a place to add another tip.

The food is good, the portions are quite large, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend!

Check your bill! Read the other reviews and you?ll find they automatically charge a 20% gratuity to almost every bill and don?t say anything to you or even printed on the final bill you?d ugh. But they do leave a place for you to tip again. I accidentally ended up tipping twice and the service doesn?t deserve it. Waiter was inattentive and essentially disappeared near the end of our meal until we finally got up and asked for our bill. Waiter also only gave us one napkin and then completely ghosted us. Food wise, fresh spring rolls were pretty good. Pho combination was okay with passable broth but fatty meat, and chicken pho was way too salty and dry. But the poor service and 20% auto tip for our table of 2 was such a disappointment. We?re both big fans of the Ha Long Bay in St. Pete, but this was a poor experience.
