Mayfly - Dundee

I used to frequent this restaurant when I was in art school. I came back to see a live band and was pleased to find that it is still the same warm and welcoming place as it always was.

The service was good and the pint was decent. I didn't stay for long, just had one pint. I will try to come back next time I am in Dundee.

This fantastic cellar bar features a small stage and the staff are incredibly helpful. It's the kind of place where if you're unsure of what to order, they'll offer to let you try it first. The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful, and there's an excellent Lebanese takeout spot right next door.

When we arrived it was really chill but it did get extremely busy with a crowd of young students who didn’t seem to have any self awareness which soured the experience a little. Drinks are very well priced and it’s got really nice decor.

Nice atmosphere and live music or DJ on Saturday night. Reasonable prices. There is only one ladies toilet so queue can be long.
