Bidrage med feedbackThis cozy spot is perfect for a coffee or a quick meal. While waiting for our car to be serviced at Kwikfit nearby, the enticing aromas led us inside. The establishment has ample seating and friendly staff. We arrived in time for breakfast and enjoyed two large Vanilla Lattes, a plate of pancakes with bacon and banana, and what appeared to be eggs benedict with bacon and haggis—it was all beautifully presented and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return in the future.
Out of all the coffee houses in Dundee, this one is at the bottom of my list for return visits. The food and drinks are not anything special, and it seems like you are mainly paying for the location on Perth Road. The food looks and tastes like it was reheated in a microwave and thrown onto a bun, trying to pass off as upscale Perth Road cuisine. The coffee is basic and nothing to write home about - I actually preferred my instant satchets at home. I will stick to Costa for better coffee and snacks in a more relaxed atmosphere. There are plenty of better establishments in the city center. I would not recommend this place, only avoid it.
I had a fabulous experience as soon as I walked through the door, receiving a warm and friendly welcome. The restaurant had Covid safety measures in place, with good spacing between tables. The food was freshly made and served with helpful and cheerful service.
Hi ,thanks for reply .Agreeing that the turkey was poor quality was very honest of you .The Apprentice story was told to myself and partner by lady who was mature ,far grey wavy hair. It as you say on another review you have details of...who comes and goes .She was as slim Lady and seemed to be in charge so to speak .She told us they had an apprentice in the kitchen so perhaps the chef who I saw who had blonde hair and as guy who had a lot of hair .I never saw an apprentice as I passed the Kitchen but that was the story I was told for the poor amount if chicken slice that I received .I left half of my panini as it had no turkey on it . When the mature Lady asked if I enjoyed it ,I said it had no turkey on it .I think that your reply was great but I did not imagine the Apprentice Story ,so I suggest you ask the Lady who brought me extra Turkey ,which was terrible quality but I was hungry so ate it .It's not good to make up stories so I suggest you get to the bottom of it .You do have a wonderful cafe and it would be a shame if staff are lying to people as it looks bad on you and your Management .Could not fault the panini ,lots of rocket ,lots of cranberry just no Turkey ..I have recently been diagnosed with an illness that makes my memory poor so took ac to eption t
Had a lovely lunch, where we got the meal deal which included the halloumi bagel and the soup of the day. The quality of the food was high and the service was really quick. Was a little pricey for a student such as my self...but it is well worth the money. I also told my girlfriend I would leave her for the halloumi bagel and she was not amused.
