Bidrage med feedbackI was not satisfied with my experience tonight. I ordered a curry chip butty and was disappointed to find that it came with very little curry sauce, making it too dry. To make matters worse, I bit into what I thought was a chip and found a big lump of curry paste.
I heard on the radio this morning that Mullens was participating in a promotion where you could get a free burger with every burger purchased. Their website displayed a variety of burgers and their sign indicated a buy one, get one free offer. Excited, we drove out to Blackrock, only to find the place closed. We tried another location in Roden Pl, where we were informed that the promotion only applied to plain quarter pounders. Despite the disappointment, we ordered and returned to work, only to discover that my colleague had only received one burger. The burgers were not very good, drowning in mayonnaise with no cheese or tomato. The whole experience was a letdown, especially since the promotion was supposed to attract new customers. This experience may deter me from trying burgers from Mullens again, as there are better options available. Overall, Burger Day was a failure.
Tried recently after a few years break and nothing has changed , chips were rock hard balls of pure grease and fresh cod was not very fresh. Got the food just after they opened at mid -day and anything but fresh, will never cross any of their doors ever again
Still the best chipper in town, always clean, always good, hard to beat. I'm at the Mullins in town or Blackrock more often than the castletown rd but there all brilliant.
Called for a take away, service was excellent, the place was spotless and the value was very good, food was superb
