Ranch House - Duncannon

The meatloaf was subpar. it definitely was old and reheated many times. if you're going to order it definitely have the gravy put on top of it my head on the side at least if you put it on the top it hides how old it is.

I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and sausage. Simple breakfast, but enjoyable. Hot chocolate as well for a cold morning as a biker. From Western PA, so I was looking for a place that made sticky buns. Enjoyed one with breakfast and ended up taking half a dozen home for my family’s dessert tonight. Was seated quickly on arrival and while I could tell my waitress was still learning, she did a fine job and will get the hang of it soon enough. My family has owned a similar style restaurant all my life and prefer eating at these places.

Pleasant atmosphere great food at reasonable prices.

Looking for a short meal spot on travel the Ranch House met the need. Was seated right away and service was pleasant and efficient. The chicken cordon bleu was good diner style, but not fine cuisine. Overall I would stop again on future travel. The desserts looked great, but did not indulge on this trip.

Always a stop for me when headed south. Been coming here for 40 years!
