Bidrage med feedbackThis place is Iconic! I have eaten here over the past few decades and one important thing never changes....The Servings are always more than enough. I don't think I have ever had a chance to eat one of their fabulous dessert items after finishing dinner, but often take a dessert to go. The desserts are as big as the meals! The Cinnamon Bun alone could feed 6 pple! If you haven't been yet, Go! It's not just a great meal, its an experience! The place is always busy! It has been around forever. The staff are happy and professional. There are so many choices on the menu. and the food is outstanding!!!!!!
I was advised to go try the dog house for Easter dinner and it was very good for the most part. The only issues I had was the cook forgot to send the maple ham glaze and I had to ask for it, and the carrots and butternut squash were very under cooked not just aldante except the brussel sprouts which were cooked perfectly. The best part of the main was definitely the cheesy scalloped potatoes and the crown jewel of the meal was the peanut butter pie which was absolutely amazing and really helped save the experience as a whole. I will definitely be back to try other items and for some of their pies which are homemade.
Excellent restaurant, great service and great food with an old school diner feel. Had the brisket eggs benny followed by a giant slice of fun in a pan pie. You won’t be disappointed.
Basic diner type food that is well prepared. Service was great every time we have visited. One of the last places that still serves a unique Cowichan Valley curry chicken with garlic toast on the side.
Last meal of the trip, and get ready to go back to the mainland, server was funny and great service. Food was awesome, perfect egg Benny. Another gem in Duncan
