The Riverside Dunblane

Really beautiful location on the water and the menu is varied enough without being boring. I enjoyed the cauliflower scampi but would have nori or something with it to make it more like fish. When I ordered Vg ice, did it come out with a Cadbury flick?

I ate here a couple times, and loved the cauliflower scampi. The risotto was pretty good too, though a little lacking in flavor.

We went here on a trip to the Trossachs and visited Dunblane only because the menu of the Riverside pub was looking very promising. We were certainly not disappointed, as the vegan selection is both large (full menu with 3 main courses plus starters and dessert) and very good. Dunblane is a nice town as well and I can definitely recommend a visit! The only thing which could have been better is that you have to ask for the vegan menu specifically and the vegan options do not appear on the omni or vegetarian menu. Putting it on there would enlarge the choice for non vegans and make it easy to enjoy very good vegan food as well.

My wife I came by yesterday saw that it was so busy without stopping for lunch. richard the owner/manager was very courtesy and showed us on a table on the back of the restaurant and drove through the menus including Sunday specialties. our beverage order was not long after and also this one when they were delivered, we also got a bottle of water. laura ordered the bark with extra cheese cooked medium and I had the special wild boar and wildburger. when they see a busy restaurant, they understand that they may have to wait for something longer, especially since eating is freshly cooked to order. our burgers arrived and there were a few problems with the rindfleischburger, not cooked medium and no cheese as desired. the waiting staff offered to take the back in the kitchen and add the missing cheese. the crook I had was far too small for the size of the bagel in which it was. it has done quite a mess on the table. fair game for all employees who liked to accept our feedback. richard was a gracious host and reimbursed the cattleburger and appreciated our feedback. it is refreshing to visit a device that wants to get it right and does not want to pay lip care for their customers. we cannot recommend the riverside enough and will definitely be back.

We were most welcomed when we arrived yesterday unannounced for a late lunch, 3 of us and a pretty big dog. the personal made zero our dog feel so at home. Excellent workers would recommend this place as a must visit. large selection of beer on hahn and dug was great. beautiful experience as always.
