The Village Table And Tavern - Duck

Not sure what was going on in Duck this year the server seemed annoyed to be working. She was not friendly at all. She was more attentive to a larger party next to us, even forgot to pickup my husbands 2nd glass of wine he ended up seeing it at the bar and got it himself. The food was not hot it was warm bordering on cold just disappointed as we had a great meal and time last year. Hope things get back to normal service wise. View was beautiful thought!

The shrimp pasta was tasty but had only a few shrimp. Not worth the price. The Southern Fish Fry had cornbread that was very dry and not tasty.

Service was mediocre at best. The food came out in 3 minutes and felt like it had been premade and was just sitting there, barely warm. The atmosphere was nice, but overall it was a letdown even though the place was recommended by friends.

Staff was unfriendly and irritable, food was mediocre at best. Came highly recommended and was instead highly disappointed. Won’t be returning.

Service was excellent, and so was the burger. Everything else was disappointing (for the 2nd time in a row). My wife's steak was literally 50% fat, and the frits were limp and soggy. The Kalamari was so hard to be almost useless. The key lime cheese cake was actually salty, and good, just not good. We had so many great meals here, but Tuesday night 10/4 was a big farewell.
