We were Greeted right away. The gentleman had excellent knowledge and great ribs. We will be back for more.

I’ve been all over the country — Texas, Kansas City, San Francisco, Atlanta — trying BBQ, and this is by far the best soul food that I’ve had in any city ?? the Beef Tips are moist flavorful throughout, the CHICKEN WINGS taste phenomenal have just the right amount of flour fried on them, the cheesecake is mouthwatering to die for ??? easily my favorite place to eat food in Dubuque . You can tell by someone’s cooking how much they love the craft, you’ll be able to taste the difference between here places like Buffalo Wild Wings from the first bite . I frequent here as much as I can afford to ?

Reminds me of home!! They even have mild sauce and lemon pepper. The chicken was fried to perfection. And the portions are well worth it. On top of that the employees are super nice and well informed on all the menu options. I recommend fried catfish or chicken it's so good.

The gentleman that owns Frannies is thoughtful and made the food from scratch. I'm picky with my fries but they were the right taste and texture! I would highly recommend it the conversation was great and the frozen strawberry lemonade was fantastic! Support a good BBQ establishment!

Best chicken wings I've ever had and the brisket was amazing. Loved the laid back atmosphere!
