Pizzeria Scala - Dubrovnik

This is the best pizza I ever had outside italian. so fresh the seafood pizza. the precursor of calamari was in the did top notch. the restaurant is so beautiful and warm. the server is fantastic and nice.

From the beginning to the end our dinner here was phenomenal. We ordered 3 dishes to share and each one was spectacular.To start off Lorenzo served us the best homemade hot bread I have ever had...none of us actually eat bread but it was so good that it was gone within minutes. The beefsteak Scala was phenomenal. Honestly the most delicious meal I've had in all of Croatia (after spending 5 weeks here). The cheese was perfectly melted and the meat was tender to the point that it fell apart in my mouth. The beefsteak Dubrovnik was cooked to medium rare perfection and the prosciutto that wrapped around it literally pushed it over into the next level. The pork medallions were accompanied by a rich white mushroom sauce that was enhanced by the soft yet crispy croquettes. Im still daydreaming over our dinner. Overall Iwas amazed at the quality of the food and the humble nature of the restaurant. The wine selection was excellent (ask for a recommendation depending on your order) and best part was the immaculate service. Honestly could not recommend more. The people next to us ordered pizza and even though we were beyond full when we saw the beautifully crafted pizzas we could not help but gawk... 10/10 will be back. I never take the time to review restaurants but this place is truly worth it. Beyond amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing prices ; we will be back soon to try much more of the extensive menu options!!! If you are looking to be blown away and don't mind a full plate go for the Beefsteak Scala... breathtaking

Waitress little bit grumpy and slow (has better and worse days) but finally smiled to us after we went there second time and we even tiped her. Good seafood pizza. Not exceptionally good but good for lunch. I would just remove tuna didn`t somehow mach. It`s very good place if you want eat good pizza a little bit cheaper than in nearby expensive restaurants near sea. Good for lunch.

Very affordable place with lots of options. Black pancakes aren't black though ...
