Bidrage med feedbackBeautiful indica aromas. not many vegan options, but everything was delicious. vegan samosas for beginners and two different main course was a good meal for two. they make naan brot also vegan is they ask.
We ended up here by chance, the staff are familiar with the term vegan but their menu has no labels. They pointed out which starters were vegan however they think honey is vegan so they included the honey chilli cauliflower but apart from that there is samosa, pakora and popadums. 2 vegan mains were the Aloo gobi and channa masala. All rice and most naans are vegan. You can choose your spice level and so the food was great for us. No vegan dessert but waiting staff were lovely [hidden link]
Had the samosas, chana masala, aloo gobi, rice, and aloo naan. Very tasty and spicy. Servers knew the meaning of vegan. Okay location and atmosphere. Lovely service.
Little restaurant hidden away. Difficult to find on google maps, check out the other reviews for directions (they really helped us find it). It was great to see an Indian restaurant in Croatia so couldn’t wait to give it a try!! We sat outside, which I would recommend as inside doesn’t look very inspiring. When ordering we found out that quite a few of the drinks weren’t available. The food however was. The food came quickly the starters were really tasty, we had the poppy samosas and pakoras. The mains were also tasty, we had the channa masala and aloo gobi with saffron rice. The portions were good and we ended up with some leftovers which we took away with us. The waiter asked how hot we wanted the food, to which we said hot please, which was the perfect level of heat for us. The only criticism of the food is that the main dishes were basically the same sauce but with different vegetables. Rice was cooked perfectly. The service was prompt but i did feel a little rushed and they didn’t seem bothered if we wanted any more drinks etc.
A little off. I think they were busy and the service was rushed. the poppadome were in order. you can only get a mint yogurt dip that is not vegan. the curries were really delicious. give them that they are vegan when they order and ask for no butter / coffee. the menu clearly marks what cheese/butter/cream has on. somewhat annoying that after we told them to be vegan that the naan was all served in 1 basket, mixed with the garlic naan that a friend ordered and has butter on.
