Bidrage med feedbackBest authentic HK Cantonese style cafe food. Super clean restaurant. Best in the Bay Area.
Been coming here for well over a decade now! Food has been consistently delicious over the years and the restaurant is actually more of HK Cafe these days which is perfect since those are pretty rare in the pleasanton/dublin area. Food is a bit pricey (honestly all Chinese food is pricey these days for some reason) but at least the quality here warrants it in my opinion. The waitress aunties are super friendly and attentive and the interior is clean and modern (recently remodeled). However sometimes when it gets busy, which it often does during peak hours, the food can take a bit longer to come out. I feel like they are slightly understaffed. Some of my favorites: I love how they put baby octopus in their baked seafood rice. They also do a somewhat different take on the chili oil wonton and its insanely good. For drinks, their HK milk tea, lemon tea, and red bean ice are on point!
Nice place for a bowl of roast duck and noodles. Service was excellent and its a good place for comfort noodle soup.
I'm glad Koi Palace Express is located so close to where I live.I ordered the Hainan chicken that is served with their onion-gingered flavored rice and herbal chicken soup.Good ingredients were used to make the dish and the price is fairly reasonable.I will return to try other items. If you would like a high quality authentic Hong Kong meal, this is the place you should visit!
My first visit and we ordered two main dishes. I loved the farm raised fresh Hainan Chicken with Rice and soup. Might be the best I've had in a long time. The hint of lemongrass in the rice added a beautiful aroma and brightness that makes you want to eat more and more. Definitely will come back to try other items on the menu. Small things like having extra sauce on the side of the three meats BBQ plate or three different dipping sauces for the chicken plate was fun to eat. Love places that serve a simple yet elevated hong kong style cafe foods. Bravo Koi Palace, you have won me over again.
