Spanish restaurant in the heart of Dublin. This restaurant is highly recommended! Delicious food and very good wine. Top service. Pleasant waiters. We will be back here, guaranteed!
We ate here as they have a very clear allergen menu and as someone with a dairy allergy that is important to us. However when the food arrived they had clearly ignored their own menu and added sour cream to a supposed dairy free dish. When I asked them about this I was told it was mayonnaise. It was only when I explained how serious this could be if it was dairy the manager came across and admitted it was sour cream and just took the dish away. After our meal I spoke to the manager and explained how serious this could have been. She smiled politely but didn’t seem to care all that much. I would worry that this could happen again so please be aware of you have any allergies.
The place itself is very nice. The staff were lovely too and service was excellent. Didn’t have to wait long for food. We shared some tapas and paella. All very good, particularly the croquetas. I’ll be back!
We were searching for somewhere to eat on a weekday evening in Dublin. Having not booked, the waitress checked for available space and welcomed us to a table. The restaurant seemed clean and warmly decorated inside. We order 4 tapas dishes to share between us (aubergine stuffed with cous-cous and goat cheese, chicken in tomato sauce, meatballs, and patatas bravas). The patatas bravas were not the best we'd ever had but they were still nice and the rest of the food was delicious and just the right amount for two of us to share! It took a long time to receive our bill afterwards, I think the restaurant was under-staffed and busier than expected. Overall we had a really enjoyable meal and would happily visit again if we were in the area.
