Iveagh - Dublin

We went to the hotel's restaurant around 13:30. We were warmly welcomed and we ate very well. The dishes are mainly burgers and toasts, but still tasty. We ate next to the fire, which warmed us the time of the meal, which was very pleasant.

Disappointing language barrier made it very difficult for the people with me to order as they had allergies. The chips were cooked in an oil which had been used for batter. Very dangerous. Fish and chips below average tartare sauce or mayo not sure.. Ordered plain turkey with chips and attempted to charge for a fill roast €21 plus chips €6 and basically 27euro for 2 slices of turkey and a few skinny chips plus %tip????

Just popped in here to meet someone n had quick coffee. Overall was impressed clean, warm n staff quite friendly. Last time i was in hotel wud been about 20yrs ago n big change lol. Read recently that it had been voted into one of top hotels in Dublin so looks like a good option if pkanning on stay in Dublin. Well situated n right on Luas line n beside Hueston Stn. Next time am staying in Dublin will try them out for the night
