Beshoff on Dame Street is a top-notch spot for fish and chips, with the food fare up to the usual Beshoff standards.

Food was good. We had fish and chips, and we got what we expected. Something that I appreciate is that fried fish was not heavy, and you could appreciate how fish tasted. This is great.

Great fish and chips. Very safe for people that need to eat gluten free. Our gluten free eater had the chicken goujons and onion rings. The ketchup is not gluten free, which the waiter was quick to inform us. Chicken was good and a huge portion. Onion rings were outstanding. The non gluten free eaters had fish and chips and calamari. Both were good. You can call for reservations. The place was packed with locals. They also serve Guinness.

Came here to try some fish and chips after seeing it mentioned on multiple videos online. Food was good, we had the fish platter which included 1 large piece of fish, calamari and fries. Not sure if it was all locations, or just this one, but the seating in the booths looked worn down and old. They also had many things on their menu covered by stickers indicating they don’t have it? Made the menu look messy and hard to look at.

For celiacs fish and chips salmon calamari and scampi all really good
