Bellagio - Dublin

Following on from a rough day at the airport where we ended up not being able to go on holiday and join our long awaited cruise. We went down to Bellagio for our dinner. The waiter was exceptional, not knowing anything about the day we had but made us feel important and special. The food and service was exceptional. It was evident that a number of the clients were regulars and after our experience I know why that is the case.

Great italian, family run, quality food, always busy but they manage to fit you in. Seafood vongole excellent.

Tasteless fish, no veg and reheated potatoes. Very disappointed. Also very pricey. Will not be returning.

Myself and my wife brought our children for dinner this evening and the level of food was terrible. Our four year old son asked for garlic bread and when it arrived it was covered in a pure garlic paste the type you would get from a tube. It was inedible and nearly made the child sick. We ordered bruschetta and a goats cheese salad for starters which were completely unseasoned, bland and cold. For mains we ordered two pasta dishes which again were unseasoned and swimming in olive oil. Our son had a pizza which was undercooked. We had two Coke zeros which cost us €3.40 each. Our total bill came to €84. The staff were courteous and friendly but the food was way way way below par and far too expensive.
