Reflections Restaurant - Dubbo

I had an excellent steak, cooked as I wanted. there was a fine selection of 3 curses to choose from. the panna cotta was a little stiff and the texture pampered by unnecessary crumbs, but never something, nor tasty! the personal was beautiful. reflexions deserve to be a favorit in dubbo.

Terrific dining experience in Dubbo! Great venue. Wonderful service! Excellent menu. Great variety. Excellent wine list to match with food. The children’s menu is terrific. Dessert for adults and children were amazing!

We were seated promptly upon arrival and water was brought to our table right away. It didn't take long for our orders for pre-dinner drinks to be taken. Our meal orders were also taken promptly and our dishes were served shortly after. The timing between our appetizers and main courses was well-paced.

This restaurant left much to be desired. We ordered 2 spring rolls and 4 dumplings for our entrees, but the duck in the spring rolls was flavorless and the dumplings were chewy with only a soy flavor. We had to wait for our wine until after our starters were served and were instructed to ask if we wanted it poured. The chili prawns were drowned in a sweet chili sauce from a bottle and there was no salad available for us (despite our early 6pm reservation), only Indian spiced potatoes, maple syrup carrots, burnt snow peas, and frozen sweet potato fries. The scallops were small, overcooked, and lacking seasoning. The purees were grainy and bland as well. The only saving grace was the wine that we poured for ourselves. When we mentioned the overcooked scallops, we were told not to give negative feedback and then ignored. After a disappointing meal and a bill of $120, we left feeling disappointed and would not recommend this place to others. We feel sorry for the previous owners and hope they do not return to dine here.

We are doing a roadie decided to visit Dubbo and the Zoo. What a great experience the meal the service at this restaurant which you could rate as 5 star dining. The wine menu with great choices to decide on albeit a...difficult decision to choose. Well done chef and team.
