The Oxford Hotel - Drummoyne

I had a lovely meal at The Oxford on the weekend, while catching up with some friends. There were so many appealing meals on the menu but the Beef and Guinness pie really grabbed my attention so I ordered that with a side of chips instead of mash. The beef stew was rich and full of flavour, and the pastry was nice and flakey absolutely delicious. The chips were also really good. Service was prompt and the staff were very friendly (even turning on the AFL for me). I do think the pie was a little expensive for the size of it but I was still full at the end of the meal.

This restaurant has improved significantly! We have been living near Drummoyne for about a year and a half, and during that time, this place has undergone several changes. I have to say, the latest change is the best. It is now cozy and the food is delightful. While my partner is still disappointed that they no longer offer their ribs, we both enjoyed our meals. A tip: don't miss out on the garlic bread!

PJ's. The $10 steak chips before 7pm is a staple, the best $10 steak chips I have come across in Sydney!

Friendly staff, and the food is good. I think they're doing a reduced menu at the moment, but it was all pretty standard/nice pub fare
