Gasthof Failler - "Zum goldenen Lamm"

The servers, especially Magdalena, are friendly and fast. We had breakfast here twice and it was a nice buffet with various breads, jams, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, fruits and vegetables, juices and soft boiled eggs. On the second day it was noticeable that the manager was not yet there, as many foods were eaten and we had to ask for additional bread, cold cuts and eggs. On the first day we were asked what we wanted to drink, and new place settings were quickly brought to our table, while on the second day we had to ask for these things. We had dinner twice. On the first day I had the Viennese baked meat, which is quite expensive at ~19€. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat was not very good. It was hard and dry that should not happen with a plate that is expensive. On the second day I chose the Spinat dumplings that were delicious. The chocolate mandelkuchen was also very nice.

Delicious dishes and very atmospheric restaurant rooms in this 300-year-old tavern/restaurant/hotel are very impressive. They also have a 30-year cinema and other cultural activities. Visit this place!

This is a nice place, the staff is friendly and is serving you well. They value the customers, no doubt. But the menu is limited and is representing local cuisine. Beer was very fresh. I would there again, but for special events with incoming chefs from other places.

Das Hotel ist super nett gelegen und bietet Abends eine schöne Terasse an der Stadtmauer. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Am Hauptplatz gelegene Restaurant, mit netter Terrasse und Blick in die Landschaft, allerdings quer durch das Lokal und dem angeschlossenen Kinobereich nicht gleich ersichtlich, aber kein gr. Problem, Sitzplätze damit im Grünen teilweise unter alter Kastanie, recht gemütlich. Service war flott und freundlich, hatten einen geschmacklich guten Kalbsrollbraten und einen gebackenen Karpfen, Qualität war sehr gut aber beide Speisen waren relativ klein, Kalbsbraten dünn geschnitten, beim Karpfen waren es lediglich 2 Stück, das ist dann für 15,60 doch etwas zu wenig-- Preis -Leistung passt nicht, war dann noch hungrig!, Nachspeise OK
