Simona Italian Fine Foods - Drogheda

A small family-run restaurant that is really a small piece of Italy in Drogheda, from which I cannot get enough. Too bad they're only open until 6:00. The shop has not many tables so safe to call and book a table not to miss. Although they were now 3 times able to accommodate me on the outside tables and inside. Spaghetti with Clogherhead Shrimps is an ingenious pasta dish with many fresh shrimps it is the special there so definitely go for it when on offer. The seafood knower is so unexpectedly amazing... each spoon is filled with rich butter and other seafood. Funghi ravioli is handmade and has this wealth that is difficult to describe. Your hand-cut chips are really freshly hand-cut and fried with clean oil. The caprese ciabatta is another highlight of the great ingredients used. To say enough, I am pleased to talk about them at the beginning of my year in Drogheda!

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants everywhere. This is a real family-run Italian restaurant with fantastic food and the prices are very good for quality. Staff are always awake and welcoming. I would recommend a reservation before the time when you can because it is a small restaurant and a popular place.

Lovely family restaurant, fresh home cooked Italian food. Chefs special prawn spaghetti tiramisu desert delicious. We all enjoyed the service comfort. Thank you
