Garvey's Bar Restaurant - Drogheda

Food was ok (nothing to write home about) for sunday lunch but the service was terrible. Young staff uninterested in the job. Kept asking for service, got orders wrong. Waste of time.

Well I have to say the customer service is not good in this place we sat day early then out appointment and a couple wit a baby sat down they were served before us even thought we were ready to order not one watriss came over to see us if we were ok I will be thinking twice going again there I am in the hospital inducuris 10 years that's not how to treat customer

Had a gorgeous two course dinner and a few pints of excellent Guinness. Very friendly staff but I must give a special mention to Pauline who went way out of her way and gave us a ride back to our hotel as our Taxi let us down. Thank you so much Pauline from Anna and Brendan.

Visited this restaurant today, soup was cold, chips and roast potatoes burnt, dessert was uneatable, waitress couldn't care less, especially the one with short bob style brown hair, actually very rude, very disappointing

The service at Garvey's was very good and the food was good. As far as pub atmosphere goes, it can use a little more charm and perhaps lower lighting. The interior was more like a diner than a pub. It has all of the elements to be cozy like a fireplace and nice exterior, but the atmosphere was a bit plain. We were looking to order Toasties and the panini's on offer were a good replacement.
