Whataburger - Dripping Springs

The people here are awesome! They are all friendly and helpful. The food is great. The only reason I'm not giving it top scores is because I wish they would play something other than country music in there. All because we're Texans doesn't mean we alllisten to country music.

When you ask a food joint why people who ordered after you got their food first, the expected answer is not Oh, we go out of order. Waiting over forty-five minutes for fast food is definitely not the highlight of a road trip. In fact, this pit stopscrewed with a tight schedule and put my group behind. Perhaps the icing on the cake was the response to the question DID MYORDER GET MISSED. The employee said, We deleted that. We can blame Chicago taking over all day long, but that doesn 't changethe fact this location needs to get it together. Do better. You are a Texas Treasure for the love of God.

I don't typically stop at Whataburger because the one in Kyle where we live the lines are long and move slow. I went today in Dripping because the line wasn't horrible. There was still a wait but not horrible. The customer service at this location wastop notch, and that is always going to beat out many other qualities for me. I'll return simply for their smiles and kind tones.

They made us 9 boxes of 10 burgers without cheese with the fixings on the side because they had that option. We could've also chose all assembled with cheese and fries, if we wanted. Everything was perfect. Pickup was on time. Boxes had plastic tongs and knives for the tomatoes, pickles, onions, tomatoes, onions, mustard, mayo, and ketchup. They were ready on time. They loadedin the car for us, and the food was warm and fresh when served 10 min. away. It was great for the kids to put the topping on theway they wanted. They coordinated everything in advance and we couldn't have been happier than we are now. Whataburger earned 5out of 5 stars and we didn't even break a sweat. The are truly professional and produced excellent quality. We hoped for thatand wasn't disappointed in any way.

This is the second time that I've eaten here where the meat was not hot enough to melt the cheese. It was warm, but not near hot. Getting really disappointed in Whataburger. Service is excellent, though, the folks at this store are super nice. The foodis only mediocre, though. How hard is it to get the patty hot???
