Bidrage med feedbackTag1 in the periphery of Dresden. We had booked a week in a holiday home in Kleinzschachwitz (yes, the first “z” belongs there and wanted to see the town and the area. I myself was already in Dresden a few times (1990, 1999? and 2014 and had seen the breathtaking change. My dear wife, who only had to worship my stories since then, but I wanted to make it flourish. Kleinzschachwitz is a villa-dominated district on the edge of Dresden and still on its mark. Large gardens and very old trees dominate the edge. The Elbe is a cat jump away and is happy to see you. But only at the absolute margins, because until the river bed it was at least 2002 the decisive 2 3 height meters had made the welfare and woe. But what we like to do in such rather short holidays is to go to dinner. And so it is now to sign the first evening and the first return. The choice of locality was determined by the girls (no italian and the search in the net, which would exist in the Dunstkreis of Kleinzschachwitz. After 6h drive, I was not able to drive back to the Dresdner city centre. A “dark restaurant” (namely change of sense at the next corner was excluded. Why? Don't worry about it. Profans should approach it, so we decided for the Olympos ca. 2km from our temporary home. HansHans Tomtom was thrown in and the address was entered into a side street at an sight, and our faithful but sometimes self-centric companion said, “You have reached your destination.” Oha, a small green area in front of a beautiful, neo-Gothic-style church came to us. But no reference to a Greek. A pretty bare house facade on the other side of the street also did not indicate. Okay, turn around and back. Yes, stop, there's something. A small passage seemed to indicate something similar. Girls sent out and after agreeing to nod, turned the car back and sought a resting niche for it. Here before: everything was easy and easy to reach. Just like the clean and quite current sanitary facilities. The small passage widened into an almost respectable passage to the left and probably also the right of the Olympos. Whoever takes up such generous spaces can probably not get to the famine. It's been hopeful. But where were my girls? I looked looking from the passage into the main guest room as an operator discovered me and immediately concluded that I had to be the appendage of the ladies who crossed right here. He guided me kindly to the outside area of the road that had been traveled more or less but was surprisingly pleasant to “own”. Terrace Fully shielded and with comfortable rattan chairs you sat well there. The brown tables with marble look (I no longer know whether the real or fake was not covered but looked good. The terrace perhaps had 35 40 people and was already 3⁄4 in the pleasant and warm day. Immediately, someone from service was there again and brought the somewhat secluded, cartoned and typically extensive maps with salt and pepper mill to the table. A beverage query did not occur immediately. Generally, the service, dressed uniformly, was quite omnipresent, cumbersome and very friendly. Only when my beer was empty I had to draw attention to it myself. At, estimated, 5 service personnel actually strange. Nevertheless, we felt good all the time. As an appetizer, it should be a Zaziki with Pita for the elderly. Zaziki or Tsatziki or... The Zaziki (3,50 was on the map but a Pita we had to ask and later struck with favorable one-fuffy. Pita, unfortunately cleaned by rugged mums It came to the table after a pleasant short time. The Zaziki was then of very pleasant creaminess and nice spice. So happy again. Maybe some more garlic and it would have bordered on perfection. The Pita was nicely decorated and came pleasantly seasoned also well. A standard white bread delivered to the Zaziki looked visually self-baked and had also tasted well. But it was not completely eaten, as the Pita was more decisive. My daughter chose a Saganaki (4.90 and was very excited. That's all I could do. As main foods we took the Sutzuki card in the children's variant (5th and a quantitatively equal gyroacter (also 5th for the two young ladies). For the old life-experienced at the table there were Gyros “special” (11.50 baked with cheese, Metaxasoße, Pommes and Beilagensalat Special Plate (13. with Gyros, Souvlaki and a cheese-filled pork steak (incl. side salad). To Sutzuki I can't say anything except that it was eaten. My daughter hasn't quite absorbed the GG mind yet. Actually, I'm glad she doesn't **** when I take photos. Sutzuki The salad was surprisingly good. So in view of the kitchen direction; A very good herb salad was accompanied by decent leaf salad (which barely lived in glacial salad). The Souvlaki and the pork steak filled with cheese are also much worse. Both were almost a bit dry in a typical kitchen, but still have quite decently guarded as they accompanied a good spice. The Gyros “special” was really good. Nicely crooked and thin cut it also didn't miss juicy portions. A really great wort stuck in it and the metaxas sauce really had something on it. Unfortunately, she was a little bit. That was the only manko. I would order it again at any time. Conclusion: On the first evening we had a quite good hit that I certainly did in my home country. Visit. The ambience on the street was not the buzzer but sitting outside was already announced on the day. It looked very good inside. The service was without a mistake except for the beverage delivery. You're welcome.
Very nice service and delicious food! I feel very comfortable when I'm in the Olympos.
A restaurant with fresh and high quality food is particularly high. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The portions are plentiful and you will notice meat quality is excellent. The restaurant has been there for over 25 years. That's for itself.
The best Greek restaurant in Dresden and surroundings.
