Backerei Schwerdtner - Dresden

Right by the main station, this bakers' is very well-respected in the whole city of Dresden, and it's easy to know why! The sweets and cookies and cakes are so appealing at the counter, with a lot of variety. Ordering right at the table is...also possible for no extra money and service is most friendly anyway. There are many breakfast options, if you want to avoid the overpriced buffet breakfast in hotels nearby.

Given that my hotel wanted to charge me 30 euros for breakfast seem much. After an early morning stroll I came across this place. Juice, with sunny side up egg, toast and ham for 6.25 euros Not the largest portion but suitable for me. Staff...friendly and quick, food fair.

This is a quiet place, where you can calmly drink a cup of tea/coffee or allow yourself more, choosing from the rich menu. I ordered an omelette and enjoyed every bite. Don't hesitate to try!

Had the Wiener sausage with potato salad. Not bad. My partner had Schopska salad and was happy with it. I had a cafe latte and partner a coke. Service was without a smile or any sign of greeting a patron.

Fast a second (or more) breakfast, or with a longer stop, or just a little bit up the hand. very good
