Bidrage med feedbackThe food and service at this restaurant is exceptional. I highly recommend it.
"This sushi is top-notch and rivals any sushi bar I've visited before. It's conveniently located in our neighborhood and we absolutely love it! The food and service are fantastic. I highly recommend it as it's also more affordable compared to other popular sushi chains."
The sushi at this restaurant is of decent quality and is reasonably priced. We enjoy stopping by every now and then to try some of their unique rolls. Prices for most rolls range from $9 to $16, but they offer a buy one, get one 50% off deal which helps save a little money. Expect to spend around $10 to $12 per roll. While there are better and more affordable sushi places available, this is a good option if you're looking for something different. The service is usually fine, though not exceptional. During our last visit, we had to wait 5 to 10 minutes before being seated on a Thursday. The food is served quickly, but the quality of the rolls can vary. Some are delicious while others are just okay. The Ichi roll is consistently good and the Seasons roll is unique and tasty. We also tried the cucumber-wrapped roll with spicy plum sauce, which was interesting but not particularly delicious. Overall, this wouldn't be our top choice for sushi, but it's worth a visit for a change of pace.
POSITIVES: Don 't let the name fool you, this place is chock full of options besides sushi. Whether it 's curry, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, a bento box, or a variety of ramen, this place offers lots of satisfying options. The appetizers are equallytempting : edamame, calamari, gyoza, takoyaki, etc. As far as sushi goes, this place nails it with a blend of great flavor andawesome presentation. I ordered the colorful Playboy roll (fried shrimp, salmon, tobiko--tiny fish eggs, and jalapeño andthe Phoenix roll (tempura shrimp, eel, avocado, salmon, jalapeño, green onion, sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, and spicymayo. . This roll was unlike anything if ever been presented with at a sushi restaurant...trust me, it is very exciting andworth every penny. The Japanese decor and theme is very friendly and inviting. The waitress was extremely polite andknowledgeable. Also, the mochi ice cream is fabulous, and you can 't go wrong with it. NEGATIVES: the menu was covered ingrease from someone fingers... Not sure if the material just attracts grease really easily or something... Also, there was aBOGO 50% off for all sushi rolls... I only ordered 2 rolls myself (one was $15ish, the other would have been about $7 with theoffer , and I somehow still walked out paying $30, aside from tip. Still not terrible, but not what I had expected. PRICE:expect to pay $15-30 per person depending on how much food you get. VERDICT: it was a fun experience, and I 'm definitelycurious about some of the other sushi rolls (and curry! It 's love to come back, but given the price, I may have to wait untilmy work takes us out so it 's on their dime.
This sushi is the best sushi and can compete with any sushi bar I've ever been and is in our neighbourliness. we love it! fantastic eating and service. highly recommended and less expensive than some of the brand names or chains sushi bars
