The Olive Restobar - Downey

We were here for my parents' anniversary, and on a Saturday evening even with a reservation we had to wait 10-20 minutes. Interior seat is very limited, but outdoor options are much and comfortable. Our service was quickly polite and personal and gave Ashley a scream out here. I recommend her Calamari for an appetizer, it's one of the best I still had. For the main course we had the family plate and for 5 people it was more than enough. A great variety and all meat cooked for perfection, the lamb was most tempting to me and if you are Ala Carte order, I beat the lambskewers. And I'd just go for her Baklava.

Amazing food. Great staff. I loved every dish that was cooked. One of the best salmon I had in my whole life. I love the music. Restro has a very modern look. Overall, if you are in Downey, then it is a must visit place. It's already visited twice.

This place is so good that I am ready to make the occasional drive 45 minutes) for him. Everything was on the spot. Service, Pita bread, drinks and food. I took a to-go plate because I would end it later. Although the place is huge, I feel as if they share the ratio of servers per table quite well. It is that or they have good experiences servers that make their job efficient. Maybe a combination of both? Many parking spaces and other areas after eating. Great location and atmosphere.

Wow. The food is up here. The quality of meat is one of the best for Mediterranean food. We have the beef alwarma, the lamb kebab and the vegetarian plate. We were full and satisfied. The service is also very impressive and wonderful. There is also a happy hour menu.

I can't say enough good things about this place the staff is very attentive. We went for brunch recently and the endless mimosas really were endless and they filled them very consistently. Happy hour is throughout the entire week and it's not cheap food and cheap drinks in the sense that they are not worth having or not tasty. Everything that is offered during happy hour is really good. The place is casual but it can also be fancy enough for a date night or a group of people looking to have a nice evening. Last time my boyfriend had the lamb shank which he loved and I had the shrimp pesto which is very delicious.
