Borrowed Time - Douglas

Tyler was an amazing server and the food...oh, the food was presented beautifully, the flavors were complex, and it was one of the best meals of my life!

We sat outside, enjoyed the beautiful patio. Outstanding food! Small plates to share!

The bartender was a humble genius, the food was delicious, and yes, it was a bit expensive, but the excellent steak and Ruby red trout (special) were worth it!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Everything we tried was delicious. The curried crab dip was particularly good, as was the chef's board. We also enjoyed the deviled eggs (order two to save yourself time, they're that good! and the Manhattan filet. The food was coursed well and the cocktails came out quickly.

We LOVE this spot in Douglas. The menu is inventive with complexity, and the owners are just really cool. Do yourself a favor and check it out. We love to order several small plates and share. Afterwards you can walk or drive to the water (two blocks) and enjoy the park. On Tuesdays during the summer you can visit the farmer’s market just across the street. Watch for swans!
