Shoney's - Dothan

Place is usually extremely busy on weekends. Sometimes you have to wait to sit down. Food is hot and delicious. Sometimes they run out and you have to wait. Waitress was okay.

Kathie was our waitress, I think this was the name. She was great. Very attentive. They couldn't keep the bar full for the crowd. Everything else was great.

The only reason I gave him a 2 was because our server was great. My husband had a medical procedure this morning and had not eaten in 24 hours, so he was hungry and chose this place, although he had not been there. He ordered fried shrimps and frits, I ordered black salmon with steamed vegetables. My salmon if it was hard cooked over and the shrimps of my husband tasted as if it had been frozen and frozen again. The food was disgusting. Our booth was on the service line and I saw the man that I suspect the manager of female employees on the butt with a towel. This place should not be open.

Not much choice at the buffet is my only complaint. Maybe it was the time of the day we came, but there were only two meats on the bar. Fried chicken and grilled chicken. But our waitress was very polite.

Food is good but I don't care to see the man who seats patrons hugged up with a lady and kissing and feeling her up in front of me on the clock. Check the cameras at 2:20pm on 10/10/22 for the footage. I see why my tea can't get refilled after being empty for 10 minutes.
