Good food and pleasant staff. You can't realistically give any restaurant in Venice more than four stars due to the high prices but, apart from that caveat, lovely! The negronis aren't very nice but are very strong, so that makes up for it. Pasta and dessert were delicious. Overall, very good place. Never sit on the table when you are hungry. Today we made a stupid and an amateur mistake to chose this restaurant for lunch. The Aperol Sprits is water and also it came in just half of glass. The tourist menu is literally a joke, is a menu for kids, but small kids. WAY OVERPRICED This is wrong, very wrong what is happening in this restaurant. If you want to order a calzone... it is a do it yourself one (open), so it's not one. Wine was nice. Saw another table get beers, and the head filled half the glass. Waiters were nice but would ignore when you want to pay. The menu definitely needed some graphic design attention, but the food looked better in real life than the pictures (which put me off the food). Honestly, I made an amateur mistake sitting at this restaurant without checking the reviews, as my father was really hungry and wanted to eat asap. I checked on google the reviews after we ordered. I had my expectations really low after reading the reviews. The service was really nice (obviously when the waiters are pakistani, who are very friendly , the food was not so great, we ordered pizza which was lower than decent, full of oil, lacking in toppings and with a taste of frozen pizza. The drinks prices are really crazy, a glass of beer 500ml I think/hope 7€, a Coke Zero 5€ and 3 € for a bottle of water. I see a lot of comments about the reciept, the coperta charge and 10 service fee. I think after all the negative reviews, the owner removed the coperta charge and sticked with the 10 service fee, which in our case was better that paying only the coperta (which is usually ~4€/person. Would I recomand this restaurant? No, unless you have a hungry person in your group and everything around is closed. I think there is room for improvement, thats why I gave 3 stars.
