Crayhouse - Doraville

I came twice since the gentle opening to taste their lunch menu and seafood buckets. Overall, I like it very much. Hush puppies (side dish was very tasteful and consistent both times. I love Gumbo, and her gumbo was definitely very good and well seasoned. (I feel like it's even better than the gum of whole food The ratio of fried seafood and the bread was good and juicy. Seafood bucket is excellent, especially the corn (not to mention the shrimps and shells there staff are very friendly and will definitely come back for more: it is 20% with its soft opening. No alcohol yet, but it should come soon...

What can I say? Beautiful establishment was under the variety of Buford Hwy. Louisiana/Cajun inspired Eatery. The staff was very nice but could use some more training/refining. Tables do not seem properly decorated. Missing spices and empty bottles. I wasn't even aware that the pepper sauce was an option until I asked another party. Two servers on employees with only 5 stands are used. There was no effort to ask me how my meal was until I was ready to go. The less I give him a 4-star rating. Alligator Biss were delicious, a very great help. Oyster Poboy was nice too. The oysters were cooked right. But the dough was a tade on the salty side. A Po boy always turns around bread. Every year I travel to the French neighborhood in New Orleans. I enjoyed the cream of the Koleslaw. I will certainly be back and give this place another shot.

The fried shrimps were amazing!! The best time to go is lunch, they are not too busy and there are lunch specialities daily. This fried shrimp was less than $10 and it comes with your choice from two sides (I have frits and a salad).

Order the almighty Bucket for 2 and Crayfish Etouffee via Door Dash and was definitely satisfied. It was all great!!! Will eat here or order all the time!!!

Another Buford Hwy gem! I ordered the Crayhouse treasure boil with extra shrimp, instead of crawfish. The shrimp were plump and juicy and grab legs meaty. I loved that they give you more than one corn and potato...ahem other places aren't so generous. There are also plenty of daily food and drink specials. Will definitely be returning!
