Captain George - Donoussa

Captain George is the only restaurant still open in town in the off-season. Therefore it was very crowded. Locals and tourists meet here and sometimes talk very loudly. I had eaten Imam. That was very delicious. The service was friendly. Price-performance is ok. Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Nice location Low prices Generous portions. You absolutely must try the fried anchovies which are cheap, good and the portion is definitely generous. Friendlier and smileier service than the rest of the island. Close to the port so quite convenient location The Bifteki was good but nothing exciting I would recommend trying other dishes perhaps based on fish. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

They managed to destroy even a good fresh fish We ordered grilled calamari and a Scorpio fish the calamari overcooked to be chewy and hard and the scorpio fish cooked without anything no salt, no oil or herbs we had to add salt ourselves and they didn't even serve olive oil for us to dress the fish ...overall in the whole island food is not well prepared despite quality ingredients seems it is lacking of basic cooking skills all across as well inexistent service which is also normal in the Island of Greece but ...
