Bidrage med feedbackI recently discovered a small restaurant down the street run by an elderly couple in Vietnam. The restaurant, located in their home, serves a daily vegan dish without a menu. The day I visited, the meal included rice, cooked cauliflower, artichoke, mock meatballs with vegan sauce, and a spicy tomato and pineapple soup. It was delicious and only cost 20,000 VND, so we left a tip. The restaurant is near Hotel Muong Thanh, just a few meters left after crossing the railway line on Nguyen Trai Road. As I speak Vietnamese, I am unsure if they speak English.
I tried out this small buffet-style vegan kitchen and was impressed with everything I tasted. They don't use fake meat, but the delicious salad and stir-fried options with tofu, along with various veggie dishes, were all amazing. Just like other local vegan places, everything is made fresh in the morning, so you can always expect a tasty meal here.
I discovered a small restaurant down the street run by an elderly couple. The restaurant, located in their own home, is a common setup in Vietnam. As I am fluent in Vietnamese, I am not sure if they speak English. There is no menu, only a daily dish which is 100% vegan. During my visit, we were served rice with cooked cauliflower, artichoke, mock meatballs with vegan sauce, and a delicious spicy soup with tomato and pineapple. The meal only cost 20,000 VND, so we left a tip as it was very affordable. The restaurant is near the Muong Thanh hotel. To get there, walk down Nguyen Trai road from the hotel, cross the railway line, and you'll find the restaurant on the left side a few meters past the crossing.
