The server was fantastic, with a great sense of humor and was very attentive.
This is our second year celebrating New Year's Day with another couple at Terra Mare Restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal. The food and the service were great. One downfall was the presence of pieces of a broken wine glass on our table. We mentioned it to our waitress who quickly removed one large piece. One other piece was found during the meal after one guest had a minor cut on one hand. Again the waitress was called and the piece removed but we could still see pin size pieces of glass still on the table. Maybe a better cleanup should have been done before seating guests.
My husband made reservations for our 29th wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. Debbie was our waitress and she provided excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass, although it was the last one available. My husband ordered the surf and turf, which was also excellent. To top it off, they surprised us with a piece of "anniversary" cake to share, which was delicious. My husband had noted in the reservations that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they even sang to us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. However, we were informed that the sea bass is both expensive and hard to acquire, which is disappointing as it is my favorite dish. I hope they continue to keep it on the menu.
The food was exceptional. We were all impressed with the quality and taste of the good. At first I thought that the service was slow, but the waiter, John, turned out to be a great waiter. He was very friendly and helpful with the menu and wine list. I will be going back again.
