Bidrage med feedbackI appreciate their BYOW policy. The hot chicken soup starter is simple, but really good for the soul. I always get menu 'E ' (Beef and shrimp brochettes with Vermicelli, simple green salad and spring roll. Spice up the brochettes with a little Vietnamese hot sauce (but not too much, it 's hot !!!! . Service is friendly and efficient. I have been going there for decades whenever we are in the area. On the downside, I don 't understands the negative commenters. We must support our local restos and stop complaining over small details that do not suit us. These are really tuff times for all of us; they are short staffed and are doing their best. it 's time to be kind, patient and respectful. And we should show our appreciation for these hard working people by giving that extra tip from those of us who can afford it !
Nice menu selection. Comfortable restaurant. Vietnamese food at it's best. You have to try the coated desserts.
Brought here by a friend who raved about it. People are very nice who greeted us, and they remembered my host as he buys here often. When all is said and done, there was nothing to separate this restaurant from many of the other Vietnamese restaurants, which the many offer average food. It seems they rely on the customer to give the meal some taste. I had the Won Ton Soup and sadly, the won tons had no flour, so it's up to the veggies to carry the load....and the soya sauce. Sorry I can't offer more positive comments as the owners are very nice people but alas....
The menu has probably been the same for the last 20 years. But you never get tired of the great soups and grilled meats. You can take out and service is fast.
This place was great. It's a BYOB if you feel like bringing some wine. There is a SAQ in the same parking lot too! The food was delicious the staff is great. I think it's a husband and wife who owns and operates it. From the outside it looks closed so we never really ventured in. But after a couple of recommendations we tried it. Will definitely go back again! There is also a kids menu. FYI, the emperial roles have chicken in them for any vegetarians out there.
