We went to Berth for our office Christmas lunch and were very impressed. The house wines were delicious and the food was amazing. The kangaroo steak and seafood pasta were particularly heavenly. The customer service was also excellent.
Located in the Docklands, Berth Restaurant offers stunning views of the water and boats through its large windows. We hosted a function for 58 guests, where each guest could enjoy a three-course meal for $60. The menu featured a selection of entrees, mains, and desserts, with options like Hervey Bay scallops, Eye fillet steak, and Sticky date pudding. Overall, the feedback on the dishes was positive, except for the Yoghurt panna cotta dessert, which lacked the expected creamy texture and tasted more like plain yogurt. The table setup consisted of three tables of 16 and one table of 10, with one table on a separate level from the others, causing a slight disconnect among guests. The wine selection started at $38 per bottle, and carafes of cocktails could be ordered for $40.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! I've been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and every meal has been fantastic. The food is top-quality and the service is great. I can't get enough of this place!
4.5 <br/ We came to Berth the other night and immediately fell in love with the stunning view ! Situated right next to the water this restaurant is an experience on its own! <br/ <br/ We sampled the Mediterranean platter which consisted of a chef’s selection, my favourite was the Arancini , the calamari on there was also delicious, melted in your mouth !<br/ <br/ For mains we tried the crab risotto and the kangaroo fillet . The kangaroo was cooked well- I would have preferred it more rare and accompanied with some unique flavours such as beetroot , berries and sweet potato <br/ The crab risotto was delicious, I couldn’t really taste the coconut milk but the abundance of crab meat was very much appreciated ! <br/ <br/ The star of the mains was definitely the cauliflower gratin, I loved this dish to bits , so cheesy and perfect <br/ <br/ Thanks for having us
