Sonic Drive-in - Dixiana

Had to stop into my old stand-by Sonic for a quick snack of all-American hot dogs, tater tots, and Oreo cookie Blast, which was amazing.

Good food, really nice and competent service and 24 hours open?! well then! have added to my list of favorite places to stop when they thru columbia sc! a few details to eat: I have tried the new dill burger. I can't decide if I love it or hate it! I'll have to try it out a few more times for the sake of research! the ice cream! I have a combo and asked for ice cream as a drink, so I guess this is their version of the normal ice cream. ok most sonics near where I live, the ice cream is in the ground coffee with a lot of sweet milk in it. not this one! I don't know what they did differently, or if they accidentally gave me an ice cream concoction, but that was delicious! extra thick and creamy, (for coffee anyway! not like a milkshake texture thick), with an almost icy frozen feeling. full taste, not too sweet, I mean, that was just right! I would only stop here for this ice-cream! and while I had not heard of a 24 hr sonic, it makes my little bit eulenherz happy to know that there is such a thing! this can be a regular stop when they return from events to home!

I stopped at the sonic around 2424 augusta hwy in west columbia and ordered a cheeseburger without pickel. I received a cheeseburger without pickles, no cheese or meat. I was already on i26, went to charleston before I realized that. since I wanted to get rid of the hwy at 321, I decided to just stop at this sonic on charleston hwy and see if they could make me a new sandwich. I was told that it wasn't her policy that I totally understood. 100% professional, very friendly and nurturing woman papst gave me a free sandwich. I know she didn't have to, and I'm very grateful. with the price of the fuel it would have cost more than the burger it was for me to return to the other load. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, 10/10 awesome customer service.

Went on a Sunday around 2 PM. It was fairly crowded with a line 2 cars deep at the drive through. All the park n eats with a social buffer in-between we're taken. Drive through service was still great. Made it through the line in approx. 10 minutes. 4 stars cause my tots weren't all the way done and were warm

I asked for so many extra pickles as they can give me, and now it's like a customs pickles on my sandwich. 10 of 10
