Bidrage med feedbackThere are two restaurants in the Gateway Grandeur hotel, one serving Assamese cuisine and the other offering a mix of Chinese, North Indian, and Western cuisine. Our group of 10 people sat on the Assamese side of the restaurant but ordered from the Florentine menu. We ordered dishes such as chop suey, hakka noodles, various fried rice options, fried fish, chicken fries, naan, and windshield. The fried fish was disappointing as it was too oily, and the chop suey was also not up to par. The paneer and naan were okay. The service was good, but quite slow.
The restaurant has a beautiful interieur and is really awesome for a date. but the food has to be improved easily.
The name Florentine gives an impression of an Italian or continental restaurant, but this is a multicuisine restaurant. The ambience, interior decor and service is good, however the western cuisines aren't up to the mark. The Indian dishes are relatively better. I also had a bad...experience of a salty dessert!
Food is of average quality. Ambience is the only good thing.Service is good. But when i go to a restaurant food is of prime importance and it is not good enough in florentine.
Its a good place to eat, njoying d live solo performance in the evenings. Steam rice with fish curry seems to b the best choice. one big plus is the constituency. After several visits and tasting the same dish, have felt that the taste has...been the same. Buffet breakfast is also good with choices of north indian and south indian foods. good place for dinner with family.
