Danena's Bakery & Bistro - Dingwall

We stopped by Danena's for lunch during a weeks vacation in Nova Scotia and Cape Breton week of July 10th. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Lovely atmosphere, great friendly service and amazing food. The crab cakes are the best ever, no filler just beautifully flavoured fresh crab. While we had anticipated a holiday with a lot of deep fried fish and chips. it turned out that there were plenty of good places to eat good fresh food and Danena's was in the top of that category.

We stopped by Danena's while on the Cabot Trail. I ordered the crab cakes and it was the best crab cakes I've ever had! My husband had the burger and he loved it too! Wondeful staff and food! We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful family owned restaurant, all the food is made from scratch and delicious. I'm not from the area but I sure make a point of stopping at Danena's Bakery Bistro everytime I drive through South Harbour. I would highly recommend everybody to stop by!!

We stopped by Danena's after an amazing time at South Harbour Beach and we weren't disappointed. While we waited for the best seafood chowder and fish cakes, we played trivial pursuit in the porch while watching the people zip lining in view. Great gem! We will be back!

We stopped by on our way around the trail and had a lovely experience. Food, staff and atmosphere fantastic. If people are looking for the fast food experience this is not your place. This is the place if you want to sit back relax and enjoy. Also very close to one of the best beaches anywhere..South Harbour Beach.
