We dine at 2 o'clock on Saturday night in August and other nearby restaurants refuse to serve you after 8:30 a.m. they accepted without problems. Simple and good cuisine: fresh oysters, moclade and classic marine mussels. Correct price for a restaurant facing the port and unlike other reviews the service was friendly.
Aside from the location, nothing good to say. The food was unimaginative and bland, and way overpriced.
An unassuming little gem overlooking the promenade marina. A generous 1 litre serving of perfectly cooked mussels (the magnificent small variety) Very good french fries to accompany plenty of good baguettes as well. Lots of different sauces available friendly/efficient service.
A good thing we didn't check this place out on TripAdvisor before visiting. Instead, we dropped in on spec during a day trip to Dieppe. The sun came out and the outside seating area was a real sun trap, gorgeous. We chose the €14.90 set menu and were not disappointed. The starters in particular were superb my wife commented they were the best prawns she'd ever had. Moules were tasty and plentiful, although to be fair the mariniere broth was a little lacking seasoning. Excellent chips. The service was friendly and attentive and overall this was fabulous value for money. Will definitely be going back next time we visit.
Tasty fish soup and flavoursome tarte tatin with nice strong coffee were the highlights. Moules good. Cheese salad underwhelming but this was only criticism.
