Henry's Cafe And Bakery - D'Iberville

This was my first experience with a Vietnamese menu. The man who works on the counter was very helpful. He took my meal for me and told me I would like it and I loved it! The flavors were well balanced, so I tasted every ingredient alike. Fresh pork, fresh slices of jalapeno (not picked), onions, carrots, cilantro, on a freshly baked baguette. He also brought me an ice cream coffee that was really good. It's not too sweet and I'm just gonna stop it! The price corresponds to the times when we live now. Good price to eat a delicious and satisfying lunch. If you taste a cheap, eat McDonald's fake food. I recommend Henry's Cafe and Bakery and I will return. Thanks for a really nice experience!

Ordered spring rolls and a special combination vietnamese po boy. Really like the Po-Junge is fresh and the ingredients are different from an American Pon-Junge. The spring roll was there. All prices have risen from the original menus listed online. $15 for the entire order and they only take cash, but have an atm in sight.

If you are looking for sub par mixed foods, do not come to Henry. It is authentic Vietnamese cuisine. My mother, dementia and Alzheimer loves it because it reminds her of home. There are some restaurants in town. We tried them all. They lacked the quality Henry put on a plate. We'll be back.
