Hotdog Johnnie's - Dewey Beach

These hot dogs are phenomenal. 5/5 stars. The bungalows are the basis of all good hot dogs and these bungalows are grilled from this world on each side only crisp and soft and warm in the middle. The hot dogs themselves are highly grilled to order on the flat top. Even the special dog is $5 and below. The Carolina Slav Dog (Mustard, Chili and Koleslaw) and the Chicago Style Dog (Sauerkraut, Senf, Pickle Relish) were what we had and were both from this world. Super fresh Koleslaw, really good chili, and all together in a fantastic $5 lunch. The fries are also really good. Restaurant and toilet were also spotless at the lunch point and the owner is clearly a really nice person. Really remarkable for its employees and customers.

The employee we talked with was really nice, he helped us decide what to get by telling us what was most popular and how the hot dogs were made. I got the Carolina Slav Dog and it was really good, it was basically a hot dog with Cole Slav and Chili on it, the water we had was free and the outdoor seats was really nice at the night when we were eating there. We're going back to try more hot dogs while we're here.

I'm glad it's back, reasonable in the price big hot dogs. they also got hamburgers, haven't tried yet. not very large inside, but you will not regret it.

Good!! : Besides serving all beef hotdogs...everything was made immediately after ordering and the gentleman working behind the counter was fast, friendly and kept himself busy keeping up with cleanliness and stocking up condiments etc....Keep it up Hot Dog Johnnies, you're doing it all right
