Standby - Detroit

Very enjoyed standby. noise level was suitable for a bar restaurant. service was very good. and definitely very funny and well made cocktails

I had a reservation for 7 o'clock, but the weather was bad with strong rain and the trip in was treacherous. I called the restaurant around 650 to let them know that I ran late and confirm if they could keep our table. this place does not accept calls. we had to write them, but they will never be answered. When the first gast arrived 10 minutes late, they were told that our table was given away. we sat in a small stand and were told we could be moved to a bigger table if the party does not show in time for their reservation by 8 o'clock. at 815 the party had not arrived yet and we were never moved. we decided to go early and go to another restaurant with sufficient seating.

For the first time in the standby were great cocktail menus and drinks amazing! cool mood, after 10:30 went music on lighter, but still intimate!

Really nice restaurant. I highly recommend if you have some money and want to experience a good meal. the menu selection is small, but eating is super high quality. the drinks were also amazing. the personal was excellent.

We had a great Saturday evening after a show at the Opera House great cocktails, super tasty food. We love Standby :
