Bidrage med feedbackThe quality and taste of the food were great per usual, but I guess because the staff was overwhelmed, we got portions of our food cold. As an example, the rice base for the oxen tail dish was quite cold as if it had been eaten, while the oxen tail was freshly cooked at the top and was quite hot. The waiter seemed overwhelmed. Our waitress chose a table again and again to sue customers over us, although we sit first. Utensil service was not provided up to half by our meal and it took forever to fill up our drinks. Other than that, the ambience was great, per usual.
The food was good, but the person at the door was rude. We were dressed appropriately in a suit and dress, my husband wore a dress hat in the building, and the person at the door asked him to remove the hat when he rises up what was good. My husband is a gentleman and would not wear a hat at the table anyway, but before he had the chance to get up, the person did not scream to take off your hat. Of course, he wanted to do that as soon as we reached the top of the stairs, a man was at the table with a baseball cap. Besides this edition, the waiting staff was nice and the food was good.
Okay, so we had the last reservation just before closing and for that I give them something from a passport. The catfish was ok, the greens were very good and the sweet potatoes were delicious and yet cold. Now the Mac and cheese was coarse and cold and had so much white cheese it looked like molten plastic. We sat next to the kitchen and I could hear that one of the kitchen staff jokes about how a bad review came before the Mac and cheese. They could have just told us that they don't have enough for two accredited commands instead of trying to stretch it and give us bad food. I still like the room and our waitress was great.
Food was AMAZING! The ambience was amazing! Service was amazing. The only thing I would change is that they pull the tails from the shrimps in the shrimps.
I celebrated my 38th birthday here and I must admit the atmosphere and food was spectacular.
