Bidrage med feedbackWe had a good experience at Jacoby’s, ordering the pork Schnitzel and the Rouladen with Spätzle.Having both been to Germany multiple times, it definitely tasted and was presented properly/authentic. The Warsteiner Pilsner was also spot on. Prices are reasonable and the service was fairly fast. They have a beautiful old carved wooden bar. I hope they stick around and I’d eat there again definitely.
This pla e was an unknown to me before I got there... on a recommendation of one of the valets at my hotel... this was a great local Detroit original pub, way cool, hole in the wall. I 'LL BE BACK!!!
Built in 1850 I think. Est.1904. I'm a sucker for history so this place was right up my alley. Started out as a blacksmith shop if I remember right. Cute blonde bartender. Great service. I had the calamari. Thumbs up.
Food was very good, quite authentic. Portion size was monstrous. The waitress was a gem, super nice and friendly. Good beers on tap too.
The bartenders were very quick with service despite a packed house. Potato pancakes were tasty!
