Gordon Biersch - Detroit

Tried to have a couple beers before we boarded (had 90 minutes before flight) but the bartenders took so long for initial order and then never came back, could not order 2nd round). The guy at the bar just stood at one end and served like 3 people while chatting.Food: 3/5

Had a couple hour layover at the Detroit airport I didn’t want a fast food place that I could get the usual food I can eat anywhere so I found #GordonBiersch Brewery. I had never heard of it so I gave them a try. I’m glad I did. I ordered a lovely #marzenBavarianLager to go with my #bratwurstSliders The beer was light and refreshing, a beautiful amber color with great flavor! The #bratwurst sliders were perfectly yummy. I loved that the meat was the star of the show with smaller #pretzelBuns which were a great compliment to the meat. The luscious caramelized #onions and wonderful marzen #mustard were amazing! Tangy and sweet they complimented the succulent bratwurst so well. Good fast service allowed me plenty of time to enjoy my layover with low stress. I’m glad I stopped to get a bite at Gordon Biersch Brewery before continuing on to Toronto. #gordonbierschbrewery

Ok. I went to a few fast food places but decided to stop here instead at the Detroit airport at gate A.I had the fish tacos and then I had Norm's IPA by Griffenclaw and a Dirty Blond by Atwater. Both were beyond my expectations. I ordered the fish tacos and I think they were the best fish tacos I've ever had. Very tasty and and spiced very well.Service was quick attentive!Now I almost wish I lived closer so I could keep coming back here.

Terrible breakfast. They served us half toasted sourdough toast and it was the heel! Really? Didn’t have hash browns so they brought fries. Eggs I believe were fake eggs. The scrambled were terrible. None of this was the fault of the wait staff. Terrible $70 breakfast for 2.Food: 1/5

Place is ridiculous. No host yet...wait to be seated. No one came. Sat at bar. Bartenders just pass me by. Finally get one and order a drink and ask for a menu. Only one menu at the bar...it is being used. Pathetic. Went to the steakhouse down the aisle...much much better. Avoid this place. Wasted 10 minutes...Food: 1/5
