Church's Chicken - Detroit

Do not bother going to this restaurant for their chicken, as the flavor is consistently disappointing. They never seem to get it right, so you will only leave feeling unsatisfied.

I visited this unique restaurant multiple times this week. The first two experiences were good, but my last visit was disappointing. They attempted to serve me a medium drink instead of the large one that was advertised with my meal. Adding to the disappointment, when I got home, I discovered that my smokehouse chicken had been overcooked to the point where it was difficult to eat, resembling dried bark.

If you want your fat, there's always the church. I like her Tuesday special.

I loved their chicken but I especially loved their jalapeno poppers and their fried okra????

Meal was missing items no soda no side of okra,corn was not fresh, chicken was hard like it was recooked.In past good fresh and delicious
