Bidrage med feedbackThe interior is pleasant and also outside you can sit well. The SB site was obviously inaccessible for a conference, so we ate in the restaurant. I had a salad with amazingly good spinach and leaves of Red Bete, I guess I was brave and had fried bloodworms and apple compote lying on the salad. The food was delicious, but expensive. My accompaniment also had a salad with goat cheese and apple, which also tasted delicious. The operation was nice, but in a loud sound. My accompaniment didn't disturb it. To get tired, we have eaten something more delicious from the bakery in the village of Paderborn. This bakery with open fire and the cake is a must for every visit. There is now another way to evaporate where you can eat well and I think we will eat next time next to the Mindener Hof. There are oven potatoes and salads. I haven't tried the food yet, but it looked delicious.
Unfortunately not recommended. The restaurant is very nice in the historic Paderborn village. We had the choice between the restaurant and the SB outdoor restaurant. After we had waited for a waitress for about 10 minutes inside, we were told on demand that the food would last at least half an hour. It's a lot to do. It's just strange that there was no main lunch time and most other guests had ordered coffee and cake. Okay, that was too long for kids. So we tried it outside. Then there was something fast. The two children ordered sausages (2.50 EUR for a simple hot sausage, but that was ok) and together a lye pulp, my wife a kiln potato with Schmand (maybe the potato was in the oven a few hours ago, it was served not even warm but cold) I myself tried it with potato salad (smacked like from a very big and bad bucket and stayed after two hairs. I do not know whether the white horse is actually still operated by Mr Hüser or whether he is responsible for the outdoor gastro. If this is the case, someone who once had a star should be ashamed of this fricaldelle in the ground and ground. It was the model of slightly softened ice hockey ypuck. With a knife it is possible to remove pressed parts. This was neither self-made nor according to qualitatively reasonable bulk production. Instead, one had the impression of getting 3,50 EUR for pressed something from a 3 pack for 0.69 EUR of a cheap discount discounter. I understand that at a speedy outdoor gastronomy no food can be expected at a star level. But buying such a stuff for 18,00 EUR falls into the category Nepp. And this is particularly shame, as the LWL otherwise makes so much effort. A great bakery, candy for children in small bags in the colonial goods shop, chilled drinks at fair prices. It's fine! Only the white horse definitely saw us for the last time on Sunday.
The food is delicious, the part is good. The staff is friendly and the price for food and drink is appropriate. The ambience outside in the yard is excellent with (currently) sunshine, you sit protected and can enjoy the sun.
This restaurant at LWL Open Air Museum Detmold offers a self-service restaurant in an old tenne, an outdoor terrace and a cozy restaurant. I was a guest in the self-service today, where delicious stray cakes and coffee were served. The children prefer Bockwurst with roles. Thirdly, we were with less than 10,-EUR. Cheap and good.
We (2 adults, 2 children were on Thursday (19.07.) at the wonderful open-air museum Detmold and visited the white horse in the afternoon to eat something. Soeben left the restaurant, so there was only another couple as guests. One operation was almost euphorically beautiful and open, warm and entertaining as well as attentive. Children are welcome. The second service was somewhat more reserved, but also friendly and customer-oriented. For the children there were grater cubes with applesa, for us parents a cattle broth with vegetables and pancake strips as well as a potato pepper stew, both served with 2 thick slices of fresh peasant bread. Both dishes seemed to be made and really taste very, very tasty! On the other hand, the Rubbishes came from the freezer that did nothing to our children. Both were satisfied. In my opinion, however, the buffers could have been a bit more fried. The two soups each cost 4,50 EUR and are very tidy, we were both fed. In general, the very attractively designed card enjoyed us very well, the selection of dishes is straightforward, but carefully selected and each offer speaks in it. Personally, I want a broader selection of teas that indicates the varieties offered. As the whole goes under full load and high-speed operation, of course we cannot judge on such a day. At any rate it tasted and enjoyed very well and we look forward to the next visit!
