Sarah K's Gourmet - Destin

So my family of 4 just spent over $100.00 for a home meal of this place based on the reviews of the crabcake I thought it would be good to this amount. these crabcakes have absolutely no lump crab at all and we are a muddy chaos in us. we cooked them exactly as they said, but without a lumpy **** they had no chance. such a way from a very high survey area. the workers were very friendly, but I honestly have no idea how this place has such a high rating?!

Great food and friendly service we Will be going back each vacation trip from now on.

I’m very impressed with Sara Ks lump crab cakes I served last night along with filet mignon on our balcony overlooking beautiful Destin beach. I plan on serving this “take and bake” more often. Awesome Dinner!

I'm living off memory, but I recall visiting this place about 6 years ago. At that time the crab cakes seemed different to me. More lump crab. Now the crab is more stringy. I do wonder how long these cakes sit in the case as well. To me, crab cakes should be made to order and pan fried. What I experienced was a cake that had a soft exterior and an even softer interior. There is no contrast in texture. This may be as a consequence of how they are reheated. The flavor was lacking to be honest. The sauces available don't really improve this. Finally the brownie was just more sweet than flavorful. If I had to express one sentiment it would be that the popularity this place gained in the past hasn't helped it now.

Friendly service and good food at premium (restaurant) prices.
