Phat Matt's - DeSoto

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is burnt to the point it ruins the entire burger. The patty is over cooked dry. I usually ask for my food to be corrected but I already waited 20 minutes just for a burger I didn’t get a receipt. I’m not upset because the cook cashier look sound like children. I just wasted $10 bc this is going on the garbage. This was my first time I won’t be back.

The lady at the counter was nice and doing the best she could under the circumstances (her help the cook was MIA)! Catfish tasted like it was fried in old grease, the fries were cold and the Phat salad was missing items that were included on the menu. The place could stand a good cleaning. Would not return or recommend.Food: 2/5

These were the best and biggest pieces of catfish I have had in a while. My husbands bacon cheeseburger was amazing. If you like hand cut fries, you NEED to try theirs.Food: 5/5

I 'm new to the area; as of yesterday morning, as a matter of fact. What a GREAT WAY to be WELCOMED TO TEXAS than my experience here. I decided to stop at the Little Ceasars next door just to get something quick. I asked my nephew about this place because he 's been here for five years. He said he wasn 't familiar with it. While waiting for my pizza, I sawca going lady in her car outside waiting for someone. I caught her before leaving and asked if she frequented Phat Matt 's and she said, Oh YES MAM! Quite often and you should try it! So I did ... I was NOT disappointed ... to say the least! The service was AWESOME! The gentleman who took my order was VERY FRIENDLY and with a sense of humor! And the food .... Oh my goodness!!! I decided on catfish nuggets and fries. Even the tarter sauce wasn 't just an average tartar sauce. It had a kick to it. I loved every single bite and WILL BE RETURNING soon. I 'm big on GREAT customer service, and this was it AND SOME! I couldn 't have gotten off to a better start with my new beginning here in Texas!

I ordered a burger basket and was very disappointed. Meat was tasteless and dry, the bread was hard. Not worth my money.
