The O'Connor House English Tea Room

Deseronto Ontario may not be the place you would expect to find great food. We were travelling at lunch time and decided to get off the highway. The street looked dismal but then you opened the door to the O'Connor House. Hardly a seat was available. We were promptly seated. Tablecloth service. China cups.The menu was not broad but everything we had was great. Quiche. Roast beef sandwich. Mushroom soup. Everything was well prepared and tasted wonderful. We will be back.

My sister-in-law took me and my wife to this tea room and it was delightful. Excellent service and the plough-mans lunch was perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Went here for lunch, it has a perfect atmosphere, food was good, service was good highly recommend! Don't leave without having desert!

Unlike anything in this area, a charming lunch spot with delicious freshly made breads and desserts. Perfect roast beef sandwich on thick fresh bread with nice salad and fresh dressing choices. Mushroom potato soup on today was delicious. Fresh warm scone with strawberries and fresh whip cream and a carnation to add to the beautiful plate. And a proper cup of tea in their mixed and matched antique teacups and teapots. Loved this lunch, a step back in time
